Deep ruby in the glass. Sweet aromatics which automatically point to a NW red, no doubts here. Big, broad fruit on the palate, ribena-like. A bit too sweet for my liking. The alcohol is quite noticeable, but not in the sense of awkward heat, more in the sense of weight that carries the fruit. Not a badly made wine at all, but just something that you have to appreciate individually.
