This is sweet and fruity, and light - not stellar, but just right. Drinking like a Tokaji a bit with tarter and similar fruit, acidity, and not cloying sugar. Copper color, apricot fruit, slight parafin note. Nice as an aperitif too. A Good little bottle, wish I had more.

tasted this wine for the first time in 5 years and it is still hanging in there -- it is definitely in decline, but it still has that intense apricot, orange blossom and clover honey aromas with decent acidity and body. The colour is unbelievably dark for a dessert wine and there is some petrol aroma that might put off certain people, but it is still delicious. Very interesting that such a modest wine has such a long life.

Really thought this was just past prime, even if inexpensive. Dried out, not enough fruit as there should be. Left with some apricot but mostly parafin. Drink younger.

No formal notes taken, but this had an interesting nose of parafin, peach, botrytised fruit, honey. Simpler or 'leaner' than sauternes, it was lighter body in body with a bit more acid and less sugar. Less of a classic match with blue cheese than sauternes. Again, this is a cheap wine; however, most agreed it was delicious and interesting for the price. I would buy again and sit on. Have more, so will add notes on them as they are …
