This is a delicious wine. I agree that a decant is a good way to go at this age. A full, jammy, chewy wine that is not over the top.

One hour decant was great. Very dark purple color. Delicious wine wine but I am still trying to get a handle on what varietal Petite Sirah should actually taste like as I feel it is so variable among producers. In any case, this is an excellent wine.

Incredible dark purple, can't even see through it. Just luscious. So rich. Great dark fruit flavors. This is a great wine.

Did a pnp. Definitely a 1-2 hour decant would benefit this wine as toward the end of the bottle, some of the harsher tannins and bitterness softened.

Medium to full body. Juicy dark cherry with balanced acidity. Smooth and silky finish.

I would definitely decant 1-2 hours on next bottle. Nice wine, but tannins could be softer.

Strong blueberries on the nose, hints of cardamom. Jammy, sweet, blueberry palate, sharp wood carries a slightly bitter finish.

A little tight at first. Needs at least 30 minutes to open up. Red and black fruit, gets juicy with air. Well balanced acidity. Solid red meat wine.

We opened this second, after dinner; we were struck with blackberries and chalk. In a good way. Really liked this one.

This is the a Dark Side of the Moon! Dark in color. Dark fruits on the nose. Moderate tannins, nice dark succulent fruits in the mouth. Great with roasted veggies.
