Father's Day Wine from Kathy. Nose of minerals, peach, and honey, same on the palate, flavors balanced by hints of barrel wood, charred, mellow, and slightly buttery, medium/big body, rich and flavorful, and a medium finish, enjoy soon as its in the peak drinking window.

Started off as a dud. Acidity was present but had a mineral style finish that felt sort of manufactured “fake”. But as the wine interacted with the air an settled in it became a nice drinker. I suggest either giving this wine more time to become what it should be or just giving it some time in the glass before enjoying. On day 2 the pop n pour was more approachable an inviting than day one. Once again with air …

Medium pale yellow-gold with greenish-platinum tint. Citrus, green apple, gooseberry, Asian pear, creme brulee, Provencal herbs, hazelnut and minerality. Medium bodied, medium-high acidity, medium structure, and medium alcohol, and medium finish. Fresh and bright, smooth texture. A little high on residual sugar, but well masked by the acidity. A nice beverage wine. I would drink it while they are young and fresh.

This straw-colored wine was sourced from Napa County (56%) and Sonoma County (44%). A blend of 91% Sauvignon Blanc, 7% Sauvignon Gris, 1% Chardonnay and 1% Sémillon, it offers an intense aromatic array of white peaches, lime zest, honeydew, ginger and chervil. Light-to-medium-bodied, crisply acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (14.1%) and with restrained wood, it delivers flavors that align with the aromas. There is a nice thread of minerality that is pervasive on the dense mid-palate and lengthy, lifted finish. This Sauvignon …

Composed and elegant but with so much vibrancy and energy. Gooseberries, dehydrated pineapple, and passion fruit aromas open up to a bright, juicy mouthful of and fresh limes and lime pith. Tremendous structure and focus, with a long mouthwatering finish. Delicious.

Rich. Multifaceted flavors. Bright, vibrant melon and honeysuckle without being sweet. It has a lovely dryness to it.

From screwtop. TnP. Lemon oil/citris/dry/balanced, 14.1% does cling to Pallatte a bit. Sonoma/Napa fruit. Can tell this is a Quality SB. Was more expressive after warmed up a bit. Tasted fine, but would not buy again as we prefer the minerality and a bit more crispness/less alcohol from (even the entry level) French sav blanc's at similar price point. Update: better on day 2 and trying at a warmer serving temp. Increasing rating to 90

Pale lemon. Pear, green apple, hint of honey comb and melon. Dry, high acid, high alcohol. Palate much more citrusy than nose- lemon, lime, a bit of grapefruit rind. Medium finish.

Solid little Sauv Blanc here, nice nose, good acidity, fresh and lively with some honeysuckle and melon note and good freshness and crispness without being sour. You can do a lot worse for around $20.

Sourced in nearly equal amounts from vineyards in Napa and Sonoma Counties, this wine is a blend of 96% Sauvignon Blanc, 3% Sauvignon Gris and 1% Chardonnay. Bottled under screwcap, it is a limpid, pale yellow offering that delivers a package of citrus, tropical fruit, crushed rocks and freshly cut grass. Light-bodied, crisply acidic and without any heat from its 14.1% alcohol, it adds an attractive nuance of wood (attributable to the fact that approximately half of the wine was …

Delicate nose, full bodied mineral driven wine, coats the palate, layer of soft fruit underneath a dominant stone edged balanced acid layer. Much more complex than the typical Sauvignon Blanc, quite a bit to explore. Age will improve it but enjoyable as is.
