Attractive nose of drank fruit with hint of apricot. Still has nice integrated structure. Jammy dark fruit with moderate finish.

Wonderful! Silky smooth and complex - this wine has fully integrated flavours and lingers on the palate in a long, luscious finish.

What a fantastic surprise! Had some expectations that this was going to be a good bottle of wine, but was a little anxious it might have passed its prime...how wrong I was! Deep ruby red and a fruity nose with plenty of complexity, leads you into a beautifully rounded and full wine. This has several years left in it yet and it will only get smoother and more complex - glad I have another bottle in my cellar!

Still has the heat going on but one of the bigger more complex syrahs I've had lately. Must be that James Berry fruit!

Awesome wine! Great fruit and structure, decent finish, and opens up to show you a luxurious silky, yet heavy mouthfeel. Great wine.

A blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre. Dark ruby color. Black cherry nose with some earth undertones. Tastes of raspberry and cherry. Good balanced. Earthy finish.

A very nice syrah that is just brimming with flavor. Black fruit, toasted oak framed in sweet tannins.

Dinner at Artisan- Wyatt's Retirement (Paso Robles) : Suprise wine of the night. Wasn't my favorite wine during dinner at Artisan, but this is a great Rhone style wine. Great fruit from the Booker and James Berry vineyards. Don't know where I can get this wine other than the Rest., but want more. Wine needs some time to open up.

Some heat on the nose after a two hour decant. Notes of pepper, meat, anise and some perfume thing going on. Dark berry fruit excites the sides of palate with smooth and lengthy finish. The structure would suggest this aging well. Decant or hold.
