Great Malbec. Dark fruit with a hint of peppery finish. Drinking widow says to '08, still has plenty of time left...

Needs more time. Unfortunately, my last bottle.

Tasted double blind. Soaring aromas of eucalyptus, blueberry and a bit of pepper. Chewy tannins with blue and black fruit flavors.

Excellent dark fruit. Still brooding a bit. I'll save my other bottle for at least a year or two.

Notes from memory: This is just beginning to hit it's stride. Great Malbec character with black fruit and crushed mineral...Not as earthy as an Argentine, but very very good.

Made a giant step forward from July. Maybe I'm getting more experience, but this was a ton of fun. Deep color, nice nose and a zin like peppery finish. Fun wine that was matched well with a hardy beef stew.

Duck Con Feet part 1? (Cheech & Shef's) : Dark red, medium-full bodied. Nose of alcohol & dark red fruit. Big structure, rounded tannins. Earthy, hints of zin but not jammy. Gravel, tart fruit. Very interesting to have a Napa Malbec!

Opened for 30 moniutes in the bottle. Consumed over the next 3 hours. What a pleasant surprise. Very fruity nose of cherries. Nice spicy mid-palate and more fruit. Finish was a little short. First time with this varietel and I liked it a great deal. Somewhat seemed to compare to a chianti. Great rainbow purple in color. No need to wait to drink the other one.
