I pegged this as a cheap-ish sparkler and doctored the first glass with elderblossom nectar, but that just made the glass schizoid because the underlying wine was decently complex and crisp in its own right, better on its own. A bit subtle, almost austere, not as good cold as cool, a nice wine but nothing special. 87-89.

Surprised by the mid 80 scores on this wine. Interesting camp fire smoke nose along with flowers. Iodine flavored body along with honeyed lemon and pear. Very full bodied and very delicious.

Pretty tight on aromas, only a little apple and pear coming out. Medium body with bright flavors of lemon, lime, green apple and pear. Crisp and refreshing. Finish drops off pretty quick. Drinking this pretty cold right now, if more flavors evolve as this warms up, I will update.

Light straw color. Compressed nose hinting yeast, apple, pear. Strongly effervescent, among the busiest race of bubbles I can recall. Barest hint of pear and apple fruit, with pear skin bitterness. Suspect that this wine may have just been released and shipped; needs time in the bottle to improve. Bottle #1 of one.
