Still another bottle unbearably dense, dark and boring. Sincerely I don't care where Kilroy was ... On the nose, aromas of coffee nugget and harsh spices triumph. Over treatment of new wood. From a very firm texture, dense to exhaustion and fortunately tamed tannins. Acidity dead long ago. No surprises here. Todavía otra botella insoportablemente densa, obscura y aburrida. Sinceramente me la pela dónde estaba Kilroy ... En nariz triunfan los aromas a pepita de café y a especias ásperas. …

One has to consider the price. For the 11 dollars I spent this was an exceptionally good wine. On the positive side it had nice cherry and leather notes. On the negative side it was a little tannic and woodsy. There was a sweetness to the taste that I do not normally associate with a cab. Still, a very nice and drinkable wine at a great price. An everyday wine, that taste a little better than an everyday wine should.

7.5/10 - Forgot I had it still had a halfdrunk bottle in my fridge and drank it an entire week later. Was very surprised that the wine still had together very nicely. Gone was the heavy and overbearing alcohol and the dependable daily drinker that I remembered this to be returned. The oak was also subtle and not distracting at all. Dark red cherries and blackcurrants with some cream, spice, smooth and integrated tannins and a decent finish. A simple …

7/10 - Bought more given the general dependability of this daily drinker. Wine was as I remembered it, but this bottle packed quite a bit of alcohol. Could have done without it!

Little nose, simple and very hot to taste after 2hr decant(82). Day 2-3: significantly better, with some black fruit aromas and red cherry, oak, and a hint of sweetness on the palette. Med-long finish full of pepper and spice, still a bit too much heat for my liking. Enjoyable in the end, solid QPR @ <$15 I paid, but only because I could give it time. You might regret it if you spend anything more.

7/10 - Still a crowd pleaser and pretty value for money. The oak was a bit on the pronounced side and distracts from the wine a little.
