Dark berry red, red rim, 5½. Intense nose, herbs, red fruits, still fresh. Taste shows the same, some tannins, fruity finish. Very good quality and surprisingly fresh still. Could possibly develop further the next 2-4 years.

Straight after opening this bottle it had a lovely bouquet. The fruit had a great, voluptuous impact on the palate. In addition there was a petillant sensation which persisted for the whole length of the bottle. I don't know whether that was right but it certainly didn't detract from the wine.
