Mute nose with lady apple and oily floral. Bright and pretty acidic structure, very filigree. Lean body really accentuates more floral and then drops some rich beats on the finish. Complex and beautiful. Loved this.

First Wednesday Wine Club (Napoli in Bocca, Haberfield) : Served blind. Apricot, Peach, melon that tends to tropical, a tiny leesy buttery note and some toast. in the mouth it has juicy acidity, slight lemon accompainies similar flavours but it's quite waxy textured, a little alcohol warmth on the finish. The nose said Chardonnay but the palate started to push me to the Rhone - the contradiction of the acidity and the alcohol warmth made me think of Northern Rhone …

We weren´t really expecting this to compare to the great white wines of the Rhone, but it was fantastic. Nose is dominated by Vioginer floral aromatics. The palate is rounded out by the roussanne and marsanne. Acidty was focused and ample. A long, pleasantly fruity body and finish.

fresh citrus flavors, floral, steely, mineral background. Nicely integrated blend, acidity, elegant on the palate. Outstanding with shellfish, crustaceans, wonderful with all else. A great find.

Doran's. Very pale. Hard to identify blind. First guesses were riesling and chenin due to notes of coconut, white nectarine and yellow flowers, and it's the sweetest white of the night. Apparently 50% viognier, but without that signature perfume (thank god).

Friends and I tasted this at the Seattle tasting room on 10/14/17. It had a rich, fresh bouquet of floral, nectarine, tangerine, honeysuckle and almond aromas. The palate was rich, ripe and fresh with flavors of nectarine, tangerine, apricot, honeysuckle, almond and minerals.

I had the 15 N. White about a month ago, and thought this guy had a clear edge. 50% Viognier - 35% Rousanne 15% Marsanne (Ithink) - this carried the stone fruit with the viognier but more mineral driven than juicy flesh, this was picture perfect with a pickled nectarine and Burratta salad.

A friend and I tasted this at the Seattle Tasting Room on 4/14/17. It had a beautiful, expressive bouquet of white floral, tangerine, apricot and honeysuckle aromas. The palate was elegant, gentle and focused with flavors of peach, apricot, tangerine, honeysuckle and mineral.
