apricot, must and a floral component. Somewhat viscous, sweet and a bit plodding, given the low acidity. Interesting, but not my style.

Smelled of pears with an overripe fruit overtone. Deep straw colour. A bit of botrytis nature at this point a result of its age. A nice aperitif.

Very easy to drink and well balanced wine. Sweet but not overly so and just the right amount of acidity. Very nice floral fragrance. Highly recommended.

Okay wine. Nice velvety body. Very floral and not the spicy notes I'm used to with Gewurztraminers. Finish was just barely okay. Drinkable, but not worth the $18.

Rather bland lacking the zest I like in a gewurz.

Brilliant golden color. Well balanced with a bit of sweetness. Served with Christmas dinner, and it held up well to the mishmash of dishes on the table.

golden yellow colored with flowers and spicy apples on the nose. zesty acid, but it's not too much. this is a plumper, riper styled gewurtz with a bit of sweetness. it's very well-balanced though, with pineapples, green apples and minerals. just a hint of spice. a good intro gewurz.

Popped and poured. Beautiful golden color. Nose of lychee fruit and hints of something floral. The CT consensus is roses but I could not directly identify. If you think all Alsacian Gewurz is dry, think again. The sweetness caught me off guard. Imagine the syrup from canned peaches in heavy syrup. Now imagine instead of peaches it was canned lychee in heavy syrup. Now take a lemon-honey celestial seasonings tea bag and seep it in the lychee syrup. Sounds great …

Wonderful aromas of roses pineapple and spice. Delicious on taste with nice medium finish. Apple, pineapple, rose, and a bit of spice.

Med + gold in the glass. En pointe nose of strong rose petals, hints of sour lychee, luscious fruit. Faintly honeyed, sweet quality on nose. Good midpalate aromatics. Med acid, med sweetness, med bitterness, med/med+ body, med- finish. Not bad. pleasant to drink. Not a stunning QPR.

A little too sweet, without the acidity backing it up. Some of the floral and spicy notes of gewurz, but difficult to justify the $20+ pricetag, considering what else is available from Alsace at the same level.

160 NOK. Anbefalt av Bølgen. Til blå ost. Petroleum, aprikos, gress, fast lang ettersmak. 5 dager i flaske: Lukt av roser og parfyme, lavendel. Spennende med en gang, kanskje god til røykt blåkveite.
