At home at dinner with K (coq au vin). Red ruby, much lighter orange at the rim. Great black cherry nose. On the palate, intense, dense, rich and chewy and tarry, but w/ an odd metallic component later in the finish that mars the beauty the wine otherwise has and is. That component was not present in other bottles. Still very good, the bitterness notwithstanding. 4-11-14-6: 85/100.
