Mineral and ciyrus palette with slightly almost sweet finish. Buy again

Nose: honeydew, lime peel, lime pith, sea spray, faint citrus blossom, red apple skin and wax Palate: concentrated lime juice, slightly astringent lemon pith, lemon balm This was served v cold, it took some time and warming to open up. Nose is layered the palate punchy. I think this has a good deal of developing to do. I would drink the next bottle in 5-10yrs

{screwcap, 13%} Pale straw. Muted nose, the faintest of citrus and melon aromas. Medium acidity. A bit prickly, but with little obvious flavour. Maybe this is super closed down. Texturally it’s fine. It’s either a dud, or in need of years aging. A few hours aging seemed to improve things, but it’s a bit of a mystery all up. Will try and keep the other bottle a while.

crisp, bright, limey, dry

Excellent. Textbook stoney apple floral nose. On palate the wine is very long and gives the impression of a a very tight wine with plenty of stuffing and layers for cellaring. Great concentration with a precise acid structure. This is an excellent wine that will repay cellaring - a new world riesling that would be a great wine to put in an Alsatian tasting. With age, should be an outstanding bottle.

Century Wine Club - May 2007 (Scarborough, Pokolbin) : Very varietal and excellent delicate flavours. Stood up very well against a Leonay. Would be interested in laying some of this down.
