Very nice - great fruit, spicy, complex darker notes, good depth, nice finish. It took quite a while to open - definitely needs a lot of oxygen for the tannins to settle down.

Purchased on recommendation of TW&M employee. (I'm a sucker for unusual flavor profiles.) I couldn't taste smoked meats, but this Zinfandel was more rich and savory than sweet and fruity.

Middle of the road for this winery. I do like the Holystone much better for the money, but this was young and just trying it to see if I would buy more. Definitely needs some age, should be better in a year or two.
