Deep purple hue. Getting cinnamon on the nose followed by dark dried fruit finished with earth. Die hard Linne Calodo fan.

Deep dark red big (15.5%) wine. Plum, Grenache fruit with a cherry cola & spice hint. Nice finish. This wine will age well.

Dark fruit and spice. Drinking well now without decant. Excellent. Nice finish. Will not hold my remaining bottle much longer.

Love these. Tempranillo, Grenache, Carignan and a few other minor players. Lots of purple fruit, white pepper, licorice, herbs, good acidity, balanced. Enjoyable right from pop and pour. Will buy again. I bought these in place of my Saxum allocation and find these more enjoyable at a better price point.

Medium bodied, balanced, spice driven. Favorite of our tasting flight and a bottle we opened several days later. Slightly riper flavor profile, but not sweet. Cola, purple fruits, pepper. The most approachable of the ‘22’s we tried. Great wine.

Deep, dark, and brooding notes of black cherry, spices, vanilla. Fully integrated with a great balance of freshness, smooth tannins, fruit, and savory notes. Outstanding all around.

A nose of dark fruits and spices, dark purple in color. A medium to full bodied Rhone blend, with black cherry, raspberry liquor and spices on long finish. www.winelx.com

As my favorite wine friend Ned said: “Bing, right out of the box! (Basketball metaphor).” Beautiful cherry and vanilla notes… serve it at 5. We’ll see what happens.

Did not show so well in last nights tasting. Distinct saddle leather angles that need not necessarily be a bad thing, but against a competitive Paso field it fell short.

Quick double decant. 38% Grenache, 37% Tempranillo, 14% Graciano, 7 % Mourvèdre, & 4% Carignan. Tons of structure, Grenache showed through on the nose and front palate

Just a beautiful melange of grapes with predominate grenache and tempranillo. This really works well and is drinking quite well now. I would recommend consuming in the next few years to enjoy the freshness.

Medium garnet red color. Classic Tempranillo nose. Tart dark cherry/red fruit flavors. Definitely needs to age.

The wine is drinking terrifically, and drank itself, though it is stylistically more austere and has darker fruit than most LC's. Which means it has more heft and tannins. The tannins are not overwhelming or an issue per se, but the wine should be even better in a couple years.

Good, not great. Pricey. Had a dry, slightly “off” finish

Heather didn’t like. I thought was “thin”. Not bad but not much depth, structure

Medium weight. Very good but still very young. Mixed berries with violets in the background. There is enough tannin and acidity for a long life. I think there is much here that can really come together with time.

30 min decant. Light in color, darker in taste. Very enjoyable, easy drinker. Really wish I had more.

Herbaceous aromas with mint, tobacco, licorice, cherry and plum. Lithe and ethereal on the palate with aromatic herbs, cranberries, cherries and red plums. Lashings of minerals and hints of cured meat. A touch of leather. Amazing structure, complexity and length. Excellent.

Though young at tasting, wonderful warm notes of black cherry, dry finish with a wisp of leather.
