Inviting nose of leather, dark fruit, oak. Some meaty aromas at open which faded after 3 hours decanting. Full fruit flavors of blackberry, and black cherry. Tart, pith, and leather on the finish. Tannins silky and well integrated compared to the muscular tannins when first tried 3-1/2 years ago. 4,21,8,4,4;50=91

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Popped and poured. A bit restrained nose of some dark fruit and a whiff of smoke. Medium(+) bodied, rather smooth, firm tannins, showing subtle dark jammy fruit with a volatile discreet smokey and minty aspect. Felt a bit odd, like the palate was changing a little after a sip. Nothing off-putting though, overall a decent quaffer but a bit underwhelming for the price.
