Previously tasted eight months ago at the winery, this was my first from bottle and it was a notable step up. Huge nose of pineapple, honey and floral notes. Between medium and full bodied with pineapple, orange and mango both upfront and through the middle. Lots of depth in the middle as well as more concentration that I recalled from my winery tasting. Tasted at the winery. Pineapple, mango and floral notes on the nose. Medium bodied (9% ABV) with honey and pineapple notes upfront. Additional tropical notes come in through the middle which shows good concentration. Some spices, light acidity and lightly tart notes along with mineral qualities on the backside. As compared to the 2006 Semi-Dry, this wine is decidedly more of a desert wine, with good fruit expression and enough concentration and acidity to remain currently interesting. Even though I …

Alcohol 9.3%. Residual sugar 3.3%. Natural suagr at harvest 22.5%. gorgeous crisp apple and overall very clean; slightly less acidity than i was hoping for.

Petrol going on with good acidic backbone. Winery: apricots and honey. Rich, full-bodied. Suggest lobster or dishes with a heavy cream sauce, fresh fruit, desserts and Swiss and sharp Cheddar cheeses.
