PnP. Brought to a dinner party so no formal notes. Nose certainly was not shy this time around.

PnP. Light gold like a Chard. Fairly subdued nose with some jasmine and peach. Citrus on the palate, with a certain stoniness (but different than the stoniness of a Riesling. Generous mouthfeel of a Marsanne with good acidity to carry it through. Tasted in a Ultima white wine glass. Showed better a bit warmer at about 58°F.

I don't have to work tomorrow because of President's Day (thanks George Washington!). So, in addition to the many freedoms my country affords me, this particular non-worknight Sunday gives me license to open the wine bottle of my choosing. Tonight, I chose this. Why? Because I'm down with white Rhone varietals like Naughty by Nature is down with OPP (Did you know that when a white man makes a lame hip-hop reference more than ten years out of date, he …

Nice bitter almond, apricot aroma. Well balanced palate of peaches, tart lime and a bit of vanilla. Bracing, firm, tart finish. A lot of quirky notes that somehow all come together to form a harmonious and delicious whole.

Popped and poured, consumed over 4 hours. Light straw colored. Nose of white flower, stone fruit, and petrol--like it more as it comes up in temperature. Tastewise there is some citrus, honeysuckle, and nuttieness. Spouse didn't care much for this but for what I paid (under $11 on sale) I'd definitely search this out again.

You can't have any wine better with chicken.

Light straw color. Nose shows white flowers, peach, and some pear. Taste melon, stone fruits, with a strong citrus influence. There is a little minerality / nuttiness on the finish. At the $14 I paid, I'd definitely buy again.

Purchased this as part of my pursuit of good single varietal Marsanne. (Perhaps fortunately) this is 15% Roussanne, as it drank much better than he other 100% Marsanne compared with. Pale straw color; Nose of white peach, honeysuckle, and a hint of petroleum. The Marsanne and Roussanne are barrel fermented; and the Roussanne aged in one year oak. The Roussanne props up the Marsanne nicely with good texture, mouthfeel, complexity. Citrus, stone fruit in mouth, with a nice finish thats …
