I was so happy that this wine held up so well. Plenty of raspberry fruit with hints of smoke, tobacco and earthiness. Delicious. Medium body. It went really well with the wild rice mushroom soup and roast herb stuffed rolled turkey breast.

It appears that Von Holt doesn't have any Syrah vines in their Suacci Vineyard. Light to medium bodied and overall delicate and nuanced. There's still plenty of raspberry and cherry fruit flavors but there's an equal amount of spices and herbs as well. I'll describe this as a good village level wine from a hot year in Burgundy.

This is a great pinot, Sonoma Coast always delivers. Spicy, peppery aroma with just a touch of cherries. Flavors of light anise, tart raspberry, and sour cherry, all mixed together in a delicious way.

Med garnet color with red cherry and baking spice on the nose. Well balanced with med alcohol and acidity. Tart cherry and light raspberry palate, med tannins and a touch of spice on the med plus finish Pleasant, well balanced style akin to a burgundy style.

Not your typical Sonoma Coast coloring and flavor profile. Delicate, pale red and beautiful dusty rhubarb color. Lovely pixie stick and cherry candy flavors and color. Perfumed and nice weight and balance.

This pours a beautiful ruby color that lightens towards the edges of the glass. It's got a mouthwatering bouquet of strawberry Jolly Rancher, earth, baking spice, and black tea. I noticed that the more this pinot sat in my glass, the better it smelled. On the palate, the Von Holt impresses with it's balanced flavors of red fruit and earth. There is ample acidity, creating a beautiful structure that should support the wine over the next ten years.
