Koehler-Ruprecht The best Dries and some add-ons; 6/23/2019-6/27/2019 (Neuhof am See) : not blind As not a Kabi drinker this is aalmost the best Expression you can get. Not toosweet, well balaced with crispy and vivid acidity. the fruit is not dominating . The lime freshness is always in the foreground. 93

still youthful lovely bouquet of guava, lime, orange blossom, good weight, fairly sweet for a kabinett, I prefer a drier Riesling, but this is lovely. For me, this is sweet enough for foie gras or dessert

Glass: Riedel Riesling Clear, pale lemon color. Clean, medium+ intense, youthful and amazing nose with white peach, flowers, citrus/lemon and mineral notes. Wonderful perfume. Off-dry, high, well integrated, racy acidity. On the palate classic notes of young Saar Riesling. Vibrant energy, balanced, complex and so damn joyful to drink that the bottle was empty after about an hour. Long, lingering, mineral finish. Obviously very young, but in a very joyful phase currently. But I guess, there is more to come. …

Sealed under screwcap this thing will probably live for a century. It is so fresh and vibrant with loads of lime sherbet and a hint of rockmelon. There's some flint and other geological matter too. All of the wine's sugar is perfectly countered by a line of razor sharp acidity. It has such focus and clarity and supreme length of flavour.

Trenger luft for å slippe duft. Begynnende modningsaromaer - cantaloupemelon og et lite hint av banan. Svært frisk i munnen, syra dominerer munnfølelsen, men er rund og fin. Litt modningspreg i munnen også. Lang ettersmak med grapefruktpreg. Relativt kraftig stil, uten at det backes helt opp av frukten - litt skuffende for en Egon Müller. Men kanskje er den bare i en rar fase - føles litt som den er midt mellom ungdommelig friskhet og begynnende aldringskompleksitet. Krysser fingre!

Tasted blind. Intense nose-fresh sea breeze, cucumer, cantaloupe, and fragrant fall apples. Succulent, full bodied, luscious Fiji apple fruit. Apple flavors are accented by undertones of complex baking spices. Great acidity. Tart, electric mouthfeel kicks in midway through and carries into a long, contemplative finish. Serious white. Impressive.

Blazing, powerful acidity that dominates from entry on the first sip through the long, tart finish. There's a blast of ripe lime and green apple fruit tinged with those classic Saar herbal and mineral notes, but the acidity is what really makes an impression here, making this come across almost dry and keeping it incredibly light and precise. It's a lot of fun to drink now, though unfortunately this was my last bottle.

Very youthful nose of citrus and flowers. Initial attack is very interesting - shockingly sweet for a second, then not as the rush of acid catches up, then a lingering sweetness again. Lime. Crazy acid. I *love* acid, but have to admit that it is likely out of balance with the concentration and sugar. Long finish, with an even longer acid cut. This is very young, with primary flavors and plenty of spritz.

Vintage Port (Fem Bord, Trondheim) : Fresh and delicate. Really perfectly balanced for me, nothing sticking out. Excellent length and concentration, despite seeming almost weightless in the mouth. Love it!

Alcohol: 7.5% Day 4. The nose has evolved and show more of the secondary aromas with dried tea leaf, plum, peaches and haw. While the palate is still lively and power, it has gain more weight and elegance as usual, it does show better depth and the better finishing that is..... incredible. Simply gorgeous.
