Wonderful color and very nice nose. Elegant and gorgeous across the palate 50 year old vines A must have if you love the tempranillio grape Revisited the bottle and it was lovely. Started without decanting the wine. The fruit flavors were wonderful. The longer the bottle was open - the deeper the flavors got. After about 2 hours the depth of this wine was wonderful.

No idea why others have rated this so low. I'm having a glass a night myself on a business trip, and for me it's a very nice wine that I would buy again if I see it back in my area.

I'm giving this a 90. Second review in as many nights and I have to disagree with most of the poor scores given here. This wine deserves more than an 86. Nice dark berries on the front with some spice. Cherry finish is not my favorite but an overall nice wine for the price.

Good rioja characteristics with a lot going on that I like in a Rioja. Youthful, nice nose. Medium bodied, tannins still pretty present. Good drinking and almost had a pinot streak of acidity. Good stuff and good QPR. Recommended

Suprisingly big and not-too-food-friendly to my palate. Would have been better with a red meat/ cheese plate. Feels and pours more like a Cab. Bit too much of the oak as well. Dark fruit and pretty big tannins. Bit too much wine for me. Or needs to be more refined with the big flavors happening.

Very nice Rioja especially at this price point. This wine had a lot going for it with a nice enjoyable depth to it that revealed a nice complexity of dark fruit, earthiness and tannins that lingered on the palate.

Deep purple, no fading. Good, modern nose displays a lot of fruit, oak, and earth. On the palate, this is medium bodied with good concentration to the fruit. This finishes with just enough acidity to keep it elegant and fresh. Medium length.
