Delightfully bright and attractive on the nose with an oaky hue, passionfruit, iodine, a hint of nettle and some flint. On the palate it has some texture to it with more concentration than one would expect but with easily sufficient acidity. The 14% ABV makes its presence felt via a bit of warmth but all the same there is a sense of freshness, elegance and delicacy about this wine - I would even say there is something crystalline here. Pnp in average glass. Nose shy or not shown enough by the shape of the glass. Mouth precise, white spices, dray hay, a hint of supposed white honey, and a deep palate of mineraly. Well balanced, finely oaked. Superb Sauvignon like a chenin. J'adore cette simplicité.

Nose is quite floral and expressive with fennel, green grass, lemon peel. Palate is medium-high acid, medium-high body: it’s rich and mouth-coating but not flabby. Quite nice balance with notes of ripe stone fruits and hints of oyster shells. Really nice Sauvignon Blanc.

Yep that’s pretty much exactly what I want in my Loire SB. Taut, mineral, lean, and precise. It’s not about fruit, it’s about: precise. Dry. Limestone.
