Fratelli Savigliano Barbera d'Alba

I pretty much like this Barbera. Not the most layered or sophisticated of wines, however it has good depth, homogeneity and consistency in the mouth, quality wood and some alcohol sweetness (14,5% alcohol). So this is in the chocolate/coffee/cinnamon corner (sometimes reminding a bit even of Rioja) with a bit of liqueur-feeling, but still rather well balanced. If one is not afraid of wood, this should be by satisfactory to most people. Paid 15 EUR for it which is OK.
