Another great Massican wine. I agree with some of the previous tasters. Great value and wonderful wines. Dan is such a wonderful wine maker. Everything he touches I absolutely love. My lone bottle of this vintage.

I really enjoy this wine, I think it's one of the best values from Napa/Sonoma by far. So nice, you get some tropical fruit but it's balanced with acidity and minerality. Love it.

Big, rich and interesting. Honeyed, lanolin character complimented by lively acidity. Some sweet fruit up front and some zesty bitternes on finish. Very good.

Notes of apple, green apple, and pear on the nose. Minerality in the body.

The three things that stand out in this wine include medium plus intensity aromas, which are complex, including lemon, lime, musk, melon, beeswax, honey, banana, and honeysuckle. The second thing that stands out is the high acidity. And lastly, the finish lasts at least 30 seconds.

Enjoyed from magnum last night with sushi for a birthday celebration. Still excellent but with a little bit more roundness (relative). Lovely!

A delicious blend of Italian varietals grown in Napa Valley. The resulting wine was subtly aromatic at first, lemony, peachy, and minerally, but with air the wine opened up and also made me think of tropical fruits, like guava and passionfruit. The palate is rich but with good acid. This paired well with cheeses and artichoke

Peach and melon scents on the nose, fresh but almost delicate. Grapefruit peel, golden apple and almond. Little waxy, round and nicely textured. Tasty.

From a magnum: A great party wine -- light body, moderate acidity, with enough complexity to attract but not demand attention.

Lightweight and refreshing. Great summer quaffer, beeswax, honeydew, white flowers and grapefruit. Aromatics are a bit muted, but this goes down easy, 12.5% abv.

Think this is in a good phase right now and seems very different than some of the comments below. Really well balanced, crisp and fresh but not too acidic. Really enjoyed.

Fresh pear and apple and lightly floral. Lovely yet light on the nose and palate. It was very refreshing and very pleasing. It went very well with with Chinese - providing a nice balance to the heat. Think of it as yang to the ying.

Baked apples with a dollop of whipped cream. Good lemony zing. A bit lighter overall in terms of mouthfeel.

I had previously tried the 2019 version of this, and it lived up to the reviews and recommendations - honey color and aroma, wax, dry Riesling style nose, apples, pears, complex. The 2020 was just pure acid. Not worth the price.

Full bodied white from Napa using Italian varietals. Grassy and thick, reminds me of Roussanne. Enjoyed the wine, but expect full bodied whote. Not sure I agree with the press on this one, especially at this price. I think it got 96 from Enthusiast.

This lacked the tension and perfectly woven harmony of the 2018, but is still a very lovely wine. Perhaps more honeyed, floral, and weighty, with some rather ripe fruit belying its Napa origins. Rather custardy on the mid-palate, the finish is nice and elegant, with just a lick of dried stone fruits.

Very pleasant nose of citrus and melons. The pleasant sensation did not translate to the placate. Finish was a bit bitter.

Medium lemon color with flecks of green. Nose of ripe citrus and white florals. Similar flavors on the palate along with a bit of apple. Medium acid and a slightly rounded mouthfeel. Enjoyable wine but my least favorite of the 2020 white offerings from Massican. Needs a bit more acidic zip to brighten things up.

Enjoyed this wine. Straw grass and minerality. I wasn’t overwhelmed with the QPR as there are many other option well below this cost. Fun to see this style from Napa, not sure I will visit this wine again though.

super rich, loads of body. Has taken on a creaminess as it ages, underlies by classic ribolla and friulano fruit notes.

A blend of Ribolla gialla, Friulano and Chardonnay. Lemon curd, white flowers, wet rocks. Elegant structure, charming fruit and a touch of (very pleasand) bitterness at the end. Very lean for a Napa white (only 12.5% abv) and very drinkable. Very recommended.

This is a first for me. I opened the bottle and a fruit fly was in the bottle. It was corked with the wine. It probably would have been fine but I figured it was a sign to not have this wine. Hopefully their isn’t one in the second bottle.

Never found that 92-94 pt harmony/wow-factor for us, a bit flat but was nicely balanced and pleasant enough, better still with food and played well with roasted nuts, cheese plate, and ceviche chile scallops. Just not that memorable, may need the right dish to really bring the complexity others have cited.

Darn good once again. We brought this into Giada Las Vegas to share with friends and it was great with the octopus appetizer dish... and then it was gone. A fantastic white wine alternative

On the palate: okay McIntosh Apples. Lacking concentration, medium - acidtiy. Felt a tad disintegrated. Perhaps an off year or off bottle. Much preferred the ‘16 sauvignon blanc.

Pale straw color. Super aromatic nose of white flowers, honeysuckle, white peach, a touch of citrus. Very perfumed. Mostly floral and stone fruit flavors on the palate with a good amount of white stone and orchard fruit coming through. Medium acid and a slightly rounded mouthfeel. Nice finish. If this had just a touch more acid, I think it would really be special. Still a delicious wine though.

Quite good. Very interesting white blend. Loved the aromatics. While I enjoyed the palate, it was not as interesting as the nose, and was in fact a tad lacking in the acidity department. Paired well with Panuchos with cochinita pibil at El Molino Central.
