Some very nice earth-toned gamay flavors, but the overall impression I got was a weird combination of slightly shrill acidity and somewhat harsh tannins. Improved a bit on the second day after vacuvin'ing. Not bad for the price but perhaps this could use another year or two in the cellar.

Juicy aromas of stony ripe blackberries dominate the nose. Balanced, with plenty of savory nuance, the palate has pepper, earth and leather characteristics to complement the soft dark berry flavors.
