A surprise party to celebrate friend Loek's birthday: From the cellar of restaurant SHOWW a nice, but too young wine of Auxey, showing, at the moment, a bit too much wood and a precise body with good citrus and a nice balance; needs aeration.

Very primary and oaked. Made with small, lumpy grapes of 60-year-old vines next to Meursault border. Bottled without filtration. Nose of nuts and apricots. Palate of stone fruits with overtones of chestnuts and walnuts. Racey, but a bit too young.
