Deep red/purple/lightest umber on edges. Black cherry, dark red fruit, earth in nose and on palate. Some plum after time open during dinner. Clean, well balanced, moderately long, moderate weight. Tannin is fully integrated. Not especially fragrant or deep, but a nice Pinot presentation and went really well with left over grilled butterflied lamb. Drink up.

Served with broccoli/Gorgonzola tart. Nice medium rich, moderately long finish. Great balance of light earth/mineral and full pinot red fruit, not jammy, but clean, a bit of tannin and perfect acid. Nose and palate came together well. Great with the tart, both complementing the flavors and freshening the palate with each sip & bite. Wine had just the right amount of backbone. Good qpr all in all too.
