Never had an Oregon Pinot Gris so restrained, so not pucker sour, but the essence of the grape came through nicely, although different. Definitely restrained alcohol at 12.3%, so that might be the key to understanding. We bought half a case of mixed at the winery in 2024, but have to say of all the wineries, their wine was our least favorite and we didn’t think the fellow leading the tasting was very knowledgeable about wine.
