This wine has held its own. The color is good the cherries fresh and a delicious bright backbone. Surprising at this age

Bright, translucent red color. Fragrant nose of cherries and strawberries. Gorgeous, bright, racy fruit, strawberries galore. Beautiful, fine tannins, great acidity and balance. Finishes moderately long with red fruits. Not as complex as the SV Pinots, but delightful. Exactly what is good about RRV Pinot. I originally thought this would be more of a short-term drinker. I now think it will go longer than I originally thought, perhaps 5 years at this level. Still, I'd drink sooner than later for …

Decanted 1 hour prior, just wanted to see what was under the hood of these Three Sticks wines. Rather subdued cherry noted and rather shut down at this point. Cans see potential as the wine had no rough edges and a nice mouthfeel. Will seek out more and looks to bury in cellar for a couple years.

This was crafted to drink well early and it does. Lush cherry nose. Pure, clean fruit on the palate, strawberries, tart cherries. Smooth tannins, nice acidity, fine balance. Finishes long and bright with red fruits. Lovely stuff. I'd drink over the next 3 years to enjoy that beautiful forward fruit, but it could go longer.

Traditional rrv Pinot some earth, steminess, tannins for miles. Long finish. Packs heat and feels like a lot of different clones that there is just a blend of fruits. It’s 14 seems like rrv is usually that or more. 90 at open. 92 and 91 at second open. Kept in fridge in 2 days.

Groundbreaking News That title is appropriate given that wineries are farms and they break ground to do their work, although I’m talking about California so maybe a better way to put that would be earth-shattering! They do have a few earthquakes now and again. The real news, however, is that I needed, or wanted, to update you on my recent post “Pinot with Ribs; Who am I to argue with Billie Three Sticks.” In it, I called Bill Price a …

Tight. I think because it is far too young. 2-3 years gathering dust should be good to go. Bright, sharp fruit. Structure indicates should cellar well. 0 sediment, nice legs.

opened 2 bottles because the first went so fast. Still nice balanced fruit, no signs of aging.

This is a very impressive Pinot Noir. Lovely earthy cherry aromas. Balanced black cherry flavors with a medium long finish.

One of the best pinot I have had. A great combination of fruit and tannin. Nice lingering taste. Would not have recognized this as a pinot in a blind taste.

Medium nose of red dust, dried cherry, slight spice, flowers. Delicate structure, light fruit of red and black cherry layers, sweet mushroom maybe (?). Tasty, though pricy. Only 200 cases made.
