A private lunch (Restaurant 4850, Amsterdam, NL) : Ultra-micro négociant who took over the vineyards of Bernard van Berg apparently. Ultra rare. Bright and fresh, crisp and minerally, pure and clean, mildly yeasty on the floral nose, red cherries and red currants, transparent and precise, creamy strawberries, lovely hint of spice, impressive persistence with a hint of carbon dioxide on the finish.
