If there was a such thing as a football wine, this is it. PnP for the 49ers-Seahawks game. Awful, awful game, but the wine made it a little more bearable. A little jammy with raspberry and boysenberry preserves. But not overly jammy. Tiny bit of ashiness, but nothing resembling smoke taint. Opened up nicely with some air and time in the glass. For $20, I would enjoy this as a party wine. 88 points.
