Very solid and easy to like. Part of a mystery purchase several years ago where it cost me mid $20s this really overdelivers given what I paid. Blackberry, anise, 5 spice, and pine resin. Good balance, restrained enought to know it's old world.

This is a quieter restrain version and silky. A bright Ruby color, the nose opens with sense of forest fruits, blackberries, licorice and Bergamot. On the pallet, the fruit remains fresh and vibrant. Notes of oriental spaces, plum and brown sugar bring intensity to the finish. Framed by Fine and soft tannins. Enjoy for 10 years. Pomerol

Decent acid , drinking young as expected , tannins strong but not overwhelming. Fruit not that strong. Not a whole lot of depth. Decent wine for the price but nothing special. Revisiting in 10 years .
