The wine looks Inky colored and smell includes Black Pepper, and Blackberry. It tastes like Blackberry, Cherry and just a tiny bit of leather. The body is Medium. Smooth texture with a medium finish. A thoroughly enjoyable wine. Too bad I've only got one more. Really glad I waited.

Sooo glad that I waited until now to open up this wonderful petite sirah. A bit of cellar time has allowed the fruit to really shine, as the tannins have mellowed, and now everything is in fine balance. This wine will not intimidated by any food---paired well with both sweet B-B-Q and spicey pasta.

Took a bit of air to open up, but overall pretty nice. A bit of sediment to watch out for. After a bit of air wine was overall fairly smooth, yet still a bit dry.

So fantastic. With just a little bit of age on the bottle it was drinking wonderfully. By far the best thing that X Vineyards produces. Inky dark with strong legs. Ripe fruit and strong acidity

Popped and poured. Dark ruby. Spicy nose with blueberry and licorice. Dark berry fruit, leather, and pepper on the palate. Soft tannins. Kirsch on the medium-plus length finish. Drink now. Paired well with rigatoni pomodoro with spicy italian sausage.

Deep, but not inky, purple. Blackberry and leather nose. More blackberries, dark cherries, and plums, good acid, well integrated tannins, and a long supple finish. Smooth and tasty.
