Intense dark berries on nose A touch of sweet leather with red berries on palate, powerful tannins end long with dark spice

Delicious, black cherry, black tea, fine grained tannins, still fresh fruit.

Blackberries, slight tobacco and smokey nose. Low tannins, blackberries, spice with silky mouth-feel. Medium-full body with long finish

Delicious from the start, perfect with a hardwood grilled t-bone and chimichurri; the wine cut the meat, and the concentration matched the smokeyness.

This is rather strong, muscular and bold upfront with a meaty character. This needs time to breathe to reveal flavors of dark berries, roasted cocoa, plum and toasty oak. The finish is rather lengthy and ends on a high note. Quite remarkable and impressive. This could cellar for another 5 years at least. Drink from 2009 to 2014.

Popped and poured. All you are expecting from an Argentinian malbec: spicy peppery wine, full of redberries aromas; meaty and structured one, delicious chimey taste. Tamed tannins after five years waiting, silky feeling on palate for a dark violet colour. Because the 14,5 alcohol, my sincere recomendation is to taste it cold. Great with an entrecotte served with fries. Excellent. Descorchado y servido directamente en la copa. Todo lo que esperas de un malbec argentino: pimienta picante, un vino lleno …

Glad I paid only $13 for this. I've enjoyed Kaiken in the past but this is shut down or simply losing steam -- though the tannins are still in there. One dimensional, faint dark fruit, prune notes, meat. An ok finish. Better with food, in this case burgers. Drank over 2 days. I won't rush back.

Not a huge nose but nice. Even better in the mouth.

I didn't write detailed notes; this was excellent; lots of structure, tannins paired greatly with a medium rare strip steak; some dust and blackberries.

Popped and poured. Nice nose of red fruit, but the palate lacked any. Nothing offensive about the wine, but could be better.
