Simart-Moreau Champagne Grand Cru Brut Rosé

I was not expecting much...having no background/insider information for this champagne (my husband brought it back from a Champagne-buying binge in Riems)... nose: there is some depth to the usual grower cuvee, with not just bruised apples but a lifted orange peel as well. palate: the mature apple is complemented by acid and body.
