Wild Rock Gravel Pit Red

Lots of juicy fruit, somewhat sweet but balanced with some darker flavors and a bit of acid. A little brambly. A lot of full fruit but not a fruit bomb. Not terribly complex either. An enjoyable, easy, full flavored glass of wine. B-

Very nicebalance here. Nothing earthshattering. I liked the restrained feel and the good acidity.

Dark purple color. Cassis and paprika in the bouquet. On the palate ripe black forest fruits and some vanilla and sweetness. Firm and modern wine which lacks some refinement. Keeping this for a few years will not hurt, but it will never be great.
