Schlossgut Diel Riesling Nahesteiner

Enjoyed at a food and wine pairing event. Paired with a tuna tostada. Great aromatic presentation, but just not enough acidity to balance the fruit nor support the food appetizer.

Pale golden colour, smells of quince and grapefruit, medium body, dry, but not in a harsh way, in the mouth grapefruit and quince, not much acidity, in the aftertaste quince, a little bit of grapefruit and a little bit of acidity, good length (15 sec), I liked the previous vintages (2018 and 2017) of the Nahesteiner better, this one is rather disappointing.
