Venica & Venica Collio Ribolla Gialla l'Adelchi

Wine Tasting in Friuli-Venezia Giulia - Ronchi di Cialla and Venica & Venica; 11/14/2022-11/17/2022 (Cialla, Dolegna del Collio, Trieste) : Tasted at the winery - 1st in lineup. 20,000 bottles made. This wine is named for the father of the current winemakers (they are the 3rd generation ). Fragrant nose of white flowers. Quite lean and brisk with acidity that clears the palate. Similar to my prior experience with this wine, I find it a bit reserved.

Two Months in Roma; 9/6/2022-10/28/2022 (Rome, Italy) : At home with dinner, this was fine if not a particular stand out for me. I think I prefer the Ribolla Gialla when it is blended with other grapes.
