St Hugo Grenache Shiraz Mataro

"2019" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/7/2018-10/12/2018 (Blue Mountains, NSW) : {screwcap, 14.8%} Youthful nose of liquorice, blackberry and sweet jam. Warm palate, a bit raisiny, with low/medium powdery tannins, plummy flavours, medium/full weight; lots of fruit but soft structure. Sound but a bit commercial in style and clearly built to drink young. Medium length finish with a big mid-palate presence but a bit obvious otherwise.
