Really solid and distinct. Delicate balance of terroir and minerality, with a profusion of minute bubbles. Particularly nice!

88 % Chardonnay (Mesnil-sur-Oger) and 12 % Pinot Noir (Bouzy). The Pinot Noir is vinified as a red wine and added to the Blanc de Blancs. Malo and vinification in steel tanks, 3 years maturation in their cave. 8 g/l dosage. Elegant rosé Champagne with typical notes of wild strawberries and raspberries, yeasty brioche, minerals, salty dryness despite the dosage, and a creamy finish. Nice!

Initially, there is a distinct yeast aroma, followed by many red fruits, such as strawberries and raspberries. It is also wonderfully dense on the palate with yeast and fresh red fruits, a lively acidity with a hint of lemon in the finish. It was enjoyable to share this with friends on the terrace!

Enjoyed with friends for Kel's bday dinner. No official tasting notes but enjoyed by all myself included. Pierre Moncuit never misses

Energetic mousse. Nice balance of lemon, green apple, bit of minerals, and brioche. Nice acidity to balance the ripe fruit. 12% ABV, makes this a great aperitif or summer bubbles. A very fine traditional champs for $50.

Bought at the winery at around 27€, this is quite a bargain. Bouquet is quite lively, with lemon confit, nice chalky minerality and slight brioche. It shows the terroir of Mesnil at the fraction of a price of other producers. The palate is balanced, fresh but also offers some nice creaminess. It has the talent to become our "house" Champagne.

Popped at the Air Bnb for our wedding! Delicious, super crisp and light, great floral and orchard fruit notes.

Brief note: A bottle purchased in spring this year, therefore probably a recent disgorgement. Quite a blueprint of a blanc de blancs: Very floral, the sweetness of lemon confit (despite being extra brut), subtle chalkiness, tiny bubbles for a caressing mouthfeel without hard edges. Overall the airy elegance of Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger is on full display and the champagne reminds me a lot of Perrier-Jouet's BdB, however, at a fraction of the price.

Deg 2/2022 First time with this cuvée. Pretty tight to start, white fruit, crisp acidity, some brioche, fine mousse is well matched to this champagne’s crisp, mineral laced profile. Balanced and opened up nicely over two hours. Well made, well priced

Brioche, minerality, citrus, stone fruits in the nose Very dry, fresh acidity, relatively modest mousse, green apples, a touch of nougat, long intensive aftertaste with a bit of zest. Great with oysters but a bit too dry with 🦞 and 🍤 but it is Friday so no need to complain 🥂🥂🥂 Bought in spring 2018.

7.5/10 - Stainless steel, green apple, pleasant creamy light bubbles. Little bit of peach.
