Good, basic Merlot. Drinking very well for an 18 year old wine. Still has good fruit flavor with soft tannins and a long finish. Paired well with a mushroom risotto (cauliflower).

Sort of forgot that I had this one. Quite tasty, nice Merlot. Very smooth with adequate flavors remaining -- I was concerned that it would be shot, and it clearly was not. Nevertheless, I see no reason to hold (at all).

Popped and poured. I wasn't expecting much, and was surprised that it was actually a decent Merlot. Well balanced oak, dark plum color, nice nose of cherry, more body than expected. All in all a pleasant surprise, and great QPR.

bought on advice of shop keeper...Im generally not a merlot fan, but this held a bigger position, hints of Bordeaux, good flavor separation and not too soft. would buy more, especially at this price. Would do well with novice guests
