Blind River Pinot Noir

Nose is fairly dense and shy, with hints of cherries, leaves and twigs. The palate, in contrast, is richly flavoured, with a strong blend of fruit, oak and confectionery. Notes of red cherry, cassis, lemon zest and sweet plum. There's also a confectionery note on the nose and palate, which gives the flavours a background of fondant and vanilla. The finish is crisp and tight, without being overly acidic or bitter.

Very light red with a tinge of brown. Strong dry earthy nose. A simple astringent dry style Pinot. I like this wine, it's easy but serious.
