Opaque cherry red. Black cherries on the nose. Rich and elegant on the palate. Cherries, chocolate, tobacco, hint of raspberry. Minerals on the mid-palate. Soft but structured tannins. Beautiful acidity, fabulous balance. Finishes long and elegant with currants and blackberries. Classic and gorgeous Cab. Drink next 5 to 6 years,

Deep, red color with slight fading at the rim. Plums and cherries on the nose. Deeply and beautifully detailed on the palate. Black cherries, plums, bit of raspberry, faintest touch of oak, hint of sweet tobacco. Fine, precise tannins, beautiful acidity, great balance. Finishes long, subtle and red-fruited. Improved on Day 2. I'd recommend decanting for a couple of hours. Great wine. Drink next 5 years.
