The pitch for the wine was "light, fresh and fruity". I disagree. Though packed with ripe fruits and retaining freshness, this was a far cry from a simple light sipper, having depth, texture, complexity, and a very long finish. Both bright and rich ripe fruit, baked lemon, apricot, and something tropical. Popped and poured at fridge temp. Grassy, lemony aromas, fresh with a hint of chalk. The palate surprises with rich apricotty tastes, but good acidity. Maybe would need another year in the cellar for the nose to catch up with the palate? Very nice now in any case!

Popped and poured at fridge temp. Quite reticent on the nose at the moment, grapefruit, lemon, chalk and a bit of passionfruit hinting of things to come. The palate is quite rich, oily, with good acidity, lots of yellow stone fruits. I think this needs another 6 months to a year in the cellar to show its stuff, very young now.
