Oregon Tasting with special guest Jade Helm (Common Lot Restaurant - Millburn, NJ) : First experience with this varietal, an Alsatian field blend. Nose of white fruit and wet stone. Thinner palate than expected (comparing to Alsatian wines), orchard fruit, quince. Creaminess on the id palate. Nice but simple wine, would be a crowd pleaser as an aperitif with Summer foods.
