Little brother of Cristiano Van Zeller's Quinta do Vale D. Maria and really impressive wine. The nose is fragrant of flowers and fruit in equal measure. The palate is soft and gentle to start but has a powerful attack of fruit on the finish which makes you realise it's a wine of steel in a velvet glove. Excellent and great value at £9 a bottle.
