Ripe and ready from go. Didn’t decant. Big bouquet, raspberry and roses. Started young and tart touch of cranberry and went to fully lush and ripe darker fruit by bottle finish 1.5 hours. Drink now.

Decanted 1/2 hour. Subtle note of blackberry, plum, cherry, worn leather and a hint of eucalyptus. Soft tannins and long finish.

Subtle on the nose. A complex blend of tannins, fruit with a slight leather texture make it very enjoyable after 13 yrs in the bottle.

P n P. Min sed. Dark deep red in glass. Paired w slow cooked brisket. Plenty of fruit, held up well to red meat dish. In a good place tonight. Nice nose of fruit n earth. Still some backbone. Without any major flaws. Wish I had more.

Decanted 6hrs then consumed with boldly flavored grilled skirt steak. So soft and fleshy. A low acidity round ball of fruit smoothie type of wine. Excellent concentration and great length. Girthy...So incredible round, ripe, and rich. Trades grace and charm for flat out flavor insanity. Spoofy and hedonistic but delicious all the same. Tastes like a Willy Wonka Reserve Cab. Certainly not for everyone but it sure went great with the steak!

Slow ox'ed for 8 hrs then decanted prior to serving. Wow, this showed amazingly well. Full bodied with black fruits, licorice, some minty/eucalyptus notes, spices, and some very well integrated oak. Very nice tannic frame provides sound structure and good acidity keeps this fresh. Great power and depth on the med length finish. Outstanding showing and soooo much better than the splash decanted bottle we had a couple of months ago. Paired perfectly with pot roast. This has lots to …

Disappointed. Came off as a bit monolithic and average

One of the most over-priced wines I have had in a long time.

Tasted at winery as part of a reserve tasting. Got to taste side by side one glass from a bottle that had been open 24 hrs and another glass from one that was just opened and not aerated. The glass from the day old bottle was clearly better, showing huge aromas of black fruits, licorice, & chocolate. Fairly massive wine delivered a full mouthfeel of liquor like blackberry pie filling, chocolate, sweet buttered toast, with a touch of basil all …

Deep dark ruby tinged glass of wine. Dark black fruit, blue fruit, toasted oak, oppulent, rich, full mouthfeel, nice tanins with great strength & balance. Enough acid to deliver the goods for a long, memorable finish. This is not an over-the-top fruit bomb like some but instead an elegantly styled wine. Age it if you can, but excellent now!
