Probably the freshest bottle of this wine that I've had in some time (last bottle ). Just enough remaining acid to keep this from being flabby. Baked cherries, spice, slight earthiness.

Clashing a bit with my lemon cough drop - I think I'll give it some time. Has a bit of that Pinot funk on the nose-let's call that "eatthiness", black cherry/black raspberry, and a cooked, almost stewed, fruit component. Definitely not a shy wine

This is past its prime. Metallic edge. Still has fruit, but seems cooked (stewed?)

Drinking well for an inexpensive Pinot from 2013. Santa Rita Hills remains one of my favorite US Pinot regions.

A bit unusual. Atypical for a California Pinot. Heavy strawberry bouquet and palate along with some bitterness and leather. Not my favorite bottle of wine by any stretch but it was worth a try.
