Oak use in this is magnificent. Terrific length and the tannins are ripe and bold. Love this wine and with the quality oak should cellar well. Get some.

There is no doubt this is a simple (slightly dumb?) new world style but it works for casual dining. I thought it showed good presence as a 4 year old in terms of fruit depth and power but the varietal character is hard to come by. Lots of fresh red fruits and lots of fruit sweetness. Will work for most occasions.

Coriole first planted Sangiovese in 1985, and today produce an very good wine. Rich and velvety purple in colour, this Sangiovese has aromas of plum jam and a hint of spice. The palate is packed with cherry, good acid, and well structured tannins.

Fruity, leathery, delicate perfume. Fruity, in your face, cherries, tarry, good length.
