Bill notes that it tastes expensive and like it has major points to it. Lifted and dimension to it. But still massive.

Well made and crafted, showing up on day two.

I did and pour and the wine was ready to go. It's easy drinking and would be a crowd pleaser. There's no harshness to it and you can't tell the 15%+ alcohol. It's somewhat on the sweet side for me. There is a nose and palette of mixed fruits but I could not discern. The wine doesn't have much structure or tannins so I wouldn't store it for long haul. I got this wine at a discount at duty free …

With a fulll bore powerful character to it. Again, also tastes like it has added tannin, but that has to be a healthy amount of Petite Verdot.

::Nose:: Coffee, flower bouquet, dirt, cedar, ::Palate:: Spice, Blueberry, Blackberry, Black Cherry, good structure and mouthfeel, leans more towards the fruits, nice and balanced new world style. Ready now and should continue to drink well for 5-10 more years.

Here's a case where the CT drinking window somehow is off by quite a bit. Currently says I should have drank this by 2020. Here it is 2023 and this wine is still pretty vibrant. It IS a bit softer than I like my Napa Cabs, but the fruit is still lovely and balanced and there are most likely a few decent years ahead for this one. But certainly don't wait!

This is a very well made wine, if not a top tier or even in the top tier of Napa Cabs in the $100 range. The heat mentioned in earlier notes is gone as expected and enough tannins remain to suggest some more time at peak. Medium finish and length, good black fruit with a touch of rosemary late in the palate.

I see over 200 people own this wine, and just the one note. My kids gave this wine to me for Fathers day 3 years ago. I'm sure some lucky retailer was happy to get it out of inventory. Slow-ox'd for 2 hours on Father's day afternoon. I opened this with my family. I thought my kids would like the fact that I was drinking their bottle with them. I shouldn't have been in such a hurry to drink this …

Still seemed a bit tight and has a lot to offer, holding a few more years.

This got about 90 minutes of air in the bottle, then another 30 minutes in the decanter before we dove in. Ran through a Vinturi/strainer because I noticed some crystals caked on the bottom of the cork, but didn't really catch any sediment. Still in its youth - cedar on the nose, fruit is dark. Currant and blackberry. Middleweight on the palate. Good balance through the dark finish. Tannins still providing some grip. All that said, went better with food …

Very smooth but just had the feeling the full palate never game around or isn't there. Lots of acid with some black fruit, oak, tobacco, and vanilla coming through. Decanted 4-5 hours.

Nose: floral, Oak, butter, grapes... A very awesome nose. I could just smell this wine instead of drinking it. Taste: smooth long finish cab with light tobacco, blackberries and amazingly light tannins for the age.

2015 Napa Trip - Day 1 (Napa, CA) : Reminds me of the 2012 TOR Napa cab. Notes of iron and rust. Super dry, but still smooth. My wife was enamored with the "peel off" double label. I can't say that I disagree - but am confounded. Yes, it is cool and has some utility. But does that outweigh the detraction from the romance of a good bottle of wine? TBD. For now, bought a bottle and will probably let …

Refined napa fruit forward Cab. Easy to drink, but on the bigger side. fine tannins. Should age well with good balance and acid.

Smooth with a nice balance of blueberries and chocolate among other notes. Stands on its own. I took this to a party and it was a hit.
